Review of Double Indemnity (1973) by Kieran O — 07 Feb 2009
For those of you who have never heard of this, the best way I can describe it is it's one of those films that you accidently stumble across in the early hours on BBC 2, you start watching it then find yourself mesmerised as the story unfolds.
Brilliant classic performances from McMurray and Stanwyck. Given the censorship limitations of the times, the lust and passion burns on the screen. Film Noir at it's best.
