Review of Doom Asylum (1988) by Jason D — 16 Oct 2008
Doom Asylum is possibly THE worst film I have ever seen in my life. The story is about a successful yuppie who has it all but then loses it in a terrible accident that leaves his lovely lady friend dead and him deformed for life, so what does he do? He inhabits the nearby asylum and brutally slays a group of teenagers passing through.
Mind you, I thought this was a horrible concept until I realized just how fucking horrible these teenagers were; not because of their characters portrayed, but because of how bad their fucking acting was.
It was atrocious. We get to see a young Pre-Sex & the City Kristin Davis hamming it up in the film with the rest of the crew, which I'm sure she wishes this piece of shit never existed. So bad that it is actually hilarious, but rest assured, it's one you will laugh at but never EVER see again.
The only saving grace are the titties. Also, it's kinda fun to see Patty Mullen in another film that ISN'T Frankenhooker.
