Review of Don't Hang Up (2016) by Sibel H — 26 Feb 2017
The main issue with this film is no matter what could of or did happen within the movie, you find yourself lacking sympathy for the main characters as they basically deserve most of what happens to them, apart from the involvement of their loved ones.
Within the first ten minutes, you realise the prank calls they make are cruel and to a very bad taste, creating an instant dislike for the characters. The fact that the tables turn when they prank the wrong person in no way makes them suddenly likeable.
To a certain extent, you actually want them to be punished.
