Review of Don't Go in the Woods (2012) by Jill K — 06 May 2012
It's not supposed to be some super deep movie, it's just pure entertainment. Pure, catchy, fucked up entertainment. Also BTW I saw the "Tribeca on the road" Houston premiere of this and met Vincent D'Onofrio which was super cool.
But honestly, that doesn't factor into my review of this movie. It was shot in 12 days, following the postman motto (they got a lotta rain). It's so fucking entertaining and the songs are so catchy and the killer lets the singers sing until the song is over and he kills them, so it's very satisfying.
And it's so fun.
