Oh the essay I could write about this movie. Won't do it here but suffice to say this is fantastic. You want to smack Jon, you want to smack Barbara but you almost can't blame them entirely because of what they've been led to expect or perform as.
It's real life too which is almost as depressing as the relationship and isolation portrayed in the film "Her" but the ambiguous ending allows for a bit more hope and understanding here.
It's a fantastic directing effort for Joseph Gordon-Levitt and I eagerly await his next one.
