Review of Dog Day Afternoon (1975) by Lee B — 29 Aug 2010
The most gripping, clever and comical bank robbery movies of all-time. The screenplay is flawless and Al Pacino is outstanding in one of the finest 70's movies. Lumet's direction is perfect, and this stands above all other movies of the bank robbery genre.
The twist is odd though, it's so surprising and you would never guess it in a million years. It's a classic, and it was totally surprising for me. Fantastic.
