Review of Do Not Disturb (2012) by Chris M — 27 Oct 2012
Two straight buddies, once the best of friends in art school, reunite after many years, and in a drunken game of oneupmanship, somehow commit to making a gay sex film together, for art's sake. Much hilarity, though sadly not much sexiness, ensues.
Has as much to say about art-making as it does about gender and sexuality. Well worth seeing, and not nearly as cringe-inducing as you might expect (the worst scene for cringing was actually one in which the married character overstayed at an art party while his wife was at home MAKING FRESH PASTA for his supper - yikes!).
