Review of Dhoom 3 (2013) by Mahesh P — 22 Dec 2013
Amazing in every aspect. Some of the best cinematography the industry has ever seen. Set against the backdrop of Chicago, this movie so lavishly and symbolically portrays the elements of the human mind.
Definitely the strongest and most demanding performance of Aamir's career and he delivered above and beyond expectations. Kat was AMAZING in her short but integral role. Malang will go down in history, not only as the most expensive song the industry has ever produced, but also as the grandest and most breathtaking song in the history of film.
Abhi and Uday take a back seat in this one-it's 100% Aamir's film. But it is this movie's spectacular script that makes it what it is. Some perfectly placed dialogues change the complexion of the entire movie.
After all, the entire movie revolves along Jackie's eternal words: "Bande hai hum uske. Hum pe kiska zor. Ummeedon ke sooraj. Nikle chaaron or. Iraade hain fauladi Himmati har kadam. Apne haathon kismat likhne.
Aaj chale hain hum.".
