It's a great work considering the budget of the movie. Supposedly based on True story it tells us the training of French Foreign Legion and the days leading to independence of Algeria. The first half which covers the training and some action while being authentic are very dull and gruesome at time.
The highlight of the movie is the real life event's of the coup as things start falling apart in the Legions. Great effort and acting by the youngsters.One of the first movie by Tom Hardy. This is a low budget movie made for DVD release so dont accept top class actors or effects .
