Review of Desert Sands (1955) by Allan C — 09 Feb 2014
Rather turgid low budget desert epic. Ralph Meeker is a French Foreign Legionnaire who falls for an Arab woman (the very non-Arab looking Marla English) whose father, John Carradine, has sworn to kill all Legionnaires.
It's essentially a western cavalry picture set in North Africa, but it's a pretty dull one peppered with a few decent action sequences.
