Review of Demonic Toys (1992) by Jason D — 17 Dec 2008
An evil spirit that was, for whatever reason, living in a toy storage warehouse is awakened somehow by some guy - that's about what I got out of the premise. Anyway the demon takes the form a child, why not, and uses some creepy-looking toys to kill a bunch of boring people who all happened to come together at this warehouse on the same night.
The acting is flat and there is no sign of an interesting plot, just a rehash of the same-old "toys coming to life theme" (yes there are a lot of movies like this). The biggest problem is that the entire movie takes place in one location.
That can sometimes work, but only if you pick the right location - this is 90 minutes in a box factory!
