I am not a hard core horror movie fan nor did I see the original of this film decades ago by the iconic director Francis Ford Coppola. In this remake, despite the gory mayhem and murders this movie kept me engaged and interested enough to see how it would all turn out and what was behind it all.
Overall, I've certainly seen worse and I would say it was better than what I expected if you don't mind the bloodshed.
