Review of Defendor (2009) by Chelsea K — 13 Apr 2010
A very simple story of a man, a few fries short of a happy meal, who thinks he is a superhero and is destined to hunt down Captain Industry, the man who killed his mother. With the help of angry bees, marbles, and his trusty trench club; he takes on the underbelly of society and actually manages to crack into the local cops most wanted gang.
After getting severely beaten up by this group for throwing bees at them, a young prostitute, Kat, helps him and becomes drawn to his childlike charms and honesty. While everyone thinks of him as a retard, as the story progresses, everyone seems to fall in love with him and he actually begins to make a difference in the lives of everyone around him, and in a final act of heroism, he becomes an inspiration for the whole town.
Especially his one friend, Kat.
