Review of Deadly Outlaw: Rekka (2002) by Tim M — 15 Mar 2009

Flower Travellin' Band. That's the reason I love watching this movie because their album SATORI is featured throughout. The rest of the movie is a pretty good albeit generic yakuza flick, Riki Takeuchi is a goofball and Miike basically gutted AGITATOR to make this sparse action film.

But you could put FTB over just about anything (Twilight + Satori = probably pretty good) and it'd be entertaining. You take them away and it's a forgettable flick by a great director.
