Review of Dead Silence (1991) by David B — 22 Nov 2011
From the writer and director of Saw comes another old fashion ghost story, about the ghost of Mary Shaw. The moody dark scenes make the scare factor high with it's atmospheric filming. The scares come with and fist with one or two shockers.
The actors are great, carrying the film at good pace. The special effects are simple and effective. proper old school horror with a good twist at the end...well, what more can you expect from James Wan who bought us Saw.
