Review of Dancing Pirate (1936) by Angela F — 09 Aug 2009
A delightfully campy, feel good movie! The costuming is fabulous, and must have been vibrant in its original Technicolor-- the copy I saw happened to be in black and white (with the credits amusingly proclaiming "Filmed in Technicolor!").
Filled with witty quotes, and fun dances. I especially loved a finale at the end using capes. Don't question the absurdity. Enjoy!
