Review of Dance of the Dead (2008) by Davy B — 13 Oct 2008
Think "The breakfast club" mixed with "Return of the Living Dead". Shown at our last movie marathon with a bunch of friends. This one was also appreciated by the people who don't like horror that much.
Abundant laughs throughout. This movie felt like the first true sequel to "Return of the Living Dead" in feel alone. We have the over the top splatstick zombie action, the coming of age teen clichés you'd expect from a movie starring Molly Ringwald and a tone resembling the british "Shaun of the Dead" at times.
Zombie frogs, zombie romance (seen to be believed), and the ways of stunning zombies with sounds of electrical guitar play. Almost like a real metal party!! and a party movie, this most definitely is.
