I really don't like Matthew McCoughnahey, but he acted out this role to a perfection. Watching Mud and then this movie, he has some Mad acting skills. With a capital "M".

Jared Leto too was un-recognizable and did his role beautifully!

I was interested in watching this movie because of the rave reviews. And boy, they did not disappoint! It was and is a beautiful, beautiful, and very well casted movie, not in the sense of having well known names, but rather in the sense that those who were casted did a perfect job out of their roles! It was amazing to watch them perform their roles! Simply superb! And well done indeed! The oscar could not have gone to anyone more deserving!! Well done!!!
