Review of C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America (2005) by Matthew K — 13 Jan 2008
A disturbing pseudo documentary satire that takes a favorite of alterante history and makes it disturbingly real. With a mix of fabricated footage, stock footage from real history, and racist takes on things like Cops, the film becomes disturbingly real.
While some the history in the film is suspect, the film is still realistic, or if nothing else seems all too real.
