Review of Crimes of the Future (1970) by Freddie F — 17 Aug 2011
The film deals with being depraved of sexuality. These characters search for it everywhere (in vain). Once again, Cronenberg uses his vague and bizarre premise to question what exactly sexuality means (take for example the sequences involving the eating of the diseased fluids, rubbing of feet on foreheads, etc.
). A fascinating early gem from one of the greatest directors.
