A perfect film! The life of a young, gay male from Quebec is paralleled with the place and era that he grew up in. The "Quiet Revolution", Expo '67, the FLQ Crisis, the election of the first PQ government and the first referendum on Quebec secession are the backdrop for Zak's coming-of-age.
Film contains one of the great song scores.
