Review of Cowards Bend the Knee (2003) by Terrence K — 02 Dec 2007
An assault of the unconscious as well as, all-too-frighteningly, the conscious. Surrealism with some rational foothold on reality, disturbingly sagacious. The world Guy Maddin lives in is our world too, but reconfigured, poetically bent out of recognition.
I urge you to give in to this, but be prepared for a workout.
