Review of Corsair (1931) by James H — 16 Feb 2007
Fine old classic, very interesting to see Chester Morris, director Roland West and Thelma Todd together. Morris and West were good friends, apparently West confessed to Morris on his death bed that he was responsible for murdering his girlfriend Thelma Todd in 1935, only a few years after this film was made.
As a film it is good, great pacing, nothing great but a solid early B movie.
