People not familiar with this low-key but funny Canadian sitcom can take a pass because they won't understand it or appreciate the humor, and if truth be told, this is just like an extended episode.
Suffice to say, if you're a fan of the sitcom, you'll like this to. I did! And who would have thought that you'd see a fight between a robot and a werewolf in the first 5 minutes! Way to go guys!
