The mainstream reviews are cray cray! Yes, I'm 42 and used the term cray cray. This movie was a blast. My husband, myself, and our two teenage.
Daughters loved COOTIES. If you enjoyed SHAUN OF THE DEAD, CABIN iIN THE WOODS, or DALE & TUCKER VS. EVIL you will like this.
In my opinion, the issue reviews are having with this is the zombies are kids. I get it. Many people will not like this simply because the zombies were kids and they kill those zombie kids. It didn't bother us because it's a movie, and those kids weren't really harmed, and if they were zombies and about to rip out my jugular I'd run them over with my truck too ??.
The most upsetting scene, which scared my kids the most, was the beginning with chicken nuggets. They've officially sworn off the things. So, win-win in this household!
