Review of Constantine (2005) by R Treybian P — 20 May 2012
My kids rag me because I watch this movie so much. That's because I thought it was an honest adaptation of a cool comicbook anti-hero. Not only does this movie fall into my favorites of honest interpretation of so called benevolent beings as noncaring assholes (which they'd have to be), but it realistically gives me a comicbook movie.
My only prob is in the story is with Papa Midnite. I don't understand why after discovering the balance was betrayed, and seeing what Constantine was up against, why he did not join the final battle? But that's just me.
