Review of Collide (2016) by Bryce C — 25 Feb 2017
Amazing, simply amazing! I completely bought the love story between Felicity Jones and Nicholas Hoult, from their first encounter I found both characters believable and even for a moment forgot that there was action to follow! While it may seem a bit cliché to make character motivation based on "What would you do to save the woman you love?" it completely fit the story and Hoult's character.
While it isn't a new concept it's a story that truly stands the test of time because people will always do impossible things for the ones they love. Even when Hoult's character is able to elude the villainous Anthony Hopkins (excellent performance as well), it never makes the villains out to be inept, but simply showcased the Hero's ability to adapt in face of unfavorable odds, all the while keeping it realistic.
