Review of Cold in July (2014) by Brandon E — 30 Jul 2014
This is a good movie. Set in 1989 in Texas, Michael C Hall (rocking a mullet) stands his ground and shoots an intruder in his home. He is then tormented by the intruder's father. There's more to the story, this film is definitely a must see.
Great performance from Hall, Shepherd and Don Johnson. I love these contemporary films that have a western motif. There's definitely some worthy twists in this movie. This movie should've been given a wider release.
I also like how this film feels like it was made in the 80's with the background and music. Definitely a must see.
