Review of Cocoon (1985) by Trace L — 16 Jun 2008
One of my favorite movies of all time, Coccon is a simple and masterful snapshot of the human mind and spirit. STeve Guttenberg dies an amazing job as the quirky yet insightful boat captain, giving many critics a reason why he should not stick to supporting roles exclusively.
Don Ameche, Hume Cronyn, and Jack Gilford also get honorable mentions in my mind. Beautifully captured, Cocoon is a must-have in any serious film collector's library.
