Review of City of Industry (1997) by Michael T — 22 Aug 2008
After the ressurection of his career in the early 1990s, Keitel was everywhere. He basically plays the same hardass character he had playing in other movies in this one, but no one plays a hardass as well as Keitel.
It is a classic Neo-Noir in which Keitel seeks revenge on the sleazy Stephen Dorff who betrays both Keitel and his younger brother (Timothy Hutton) after they pull a jewelry store heist. Famke Janssen seems to glamorous to play Hutton's wife who works as a clerk in Safeway.
Worth a look.
