This movie is really a masterpiece and I think you should watch it more than once to really appreciate it. Plus reading about this movie's background will help you even more to understand and love Cidade de Deus.
The story is powerful, gripping and just extraordinary. I really, really loved all the members of the cast, because they did a splendid performance.
The camerawork was great and I liked the story-telling technique.
Directors Fernando Meirelles and Kátia Lund simply did a brilliant job!
