Review of Ciao (2008) by Michael S — 23 Feb 2014
Despite the lack of character development and the abundance of unnecessarily long scenes, the connection the two main characters develop in the midst of a recent tragedy is far more convincing and palpable than that of a lesser romance/drama film.
Ciao is one of the more respectable and honest films portraying gay characters as real human beings rather than the stereotypes as strengthened by most other LGBT-oriented films.
