Watched on an Air Canada flight from Montreal to Vancouver. The film is a great morality play; it excites and energizes the audience. Despite the name, however, the film isn't primarily about Madoff, but instead about Markopolos' obsessive and possibly deranged obsession with the titular character.
The film ultimately suggests that many people were in league with Madoff and didn't ask sufficient questions - it is here that the film offers a good jumping off point to enrage the viewer.
