The biggest problem with this film is the casting of Elvis Presley as a charater that is way out of his range as an actor. Charles Marquis Warren , the creator of the TV series "Gunsmoke" and "Rawhide", has written a tired western that has nothing new to say in it.
After his performance in "Flaming Star", a film which Elvis was excellent in, I guess I expected more. No such luck.
