Review of Cemetery Junction (2010) by Graeme M — 30 Apr 2010
I wasn't sure what to expect from first time director Ricky and Steven. I personally don't find Gervias all together funny, and his previous two film efforts have been poor. This however makes up for it.
The story is perfect, and captures life growing up in every essence. The period works well, adding another bit of character to the plot. The three main roles are filled well, and your pushing them on hoping they will achieve their goals.
Relationships are crucial to the plot, whether parents and children, husband and wife, and boy meets girl, and each one is executed well.
