Sadly "CBGB's" is loaded with the typical myths of the club. It's focus is more on the dog crap on the floor and Crystal's inability to pay bills than the real legacy of the legendary night spot.
What made it more painful were the obvious lip syncing moment of every band performance. The least the Director could have done was find live performances for his cover bands to perform to, instead of the obvious album recordings.
