Review of Castle Freak (1996) by Ken H — 14 Oct 2008
While it's not as good as some of Gordon's other B-movie masterpieces, it still delivers to some extent. The first 20 minutes has promise, then the next 40 kind of drag, then the last half hour makes up for it.
Make up is quite well done, it's always good to see Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton together, and newcomer Jessica Dollarhide puts in a great performance as their daughter.
