Review of Casa de los Babys (2003) by Alex C — 09 Oct 2010
A social commentary to the issue, the film delivers a kind and warm words describing how two worlds, as different as blue and yellow, are connected in a way probably only few ever thought of. I particularly note the dialogue between the man who's working as repairman for the hotels the women stay in and his (arguably) extremist friends on a night.
They're talking about the adoption of their own children, accusing that "when it comes to a showdown, the little bastards shooting at us will be our own children."; that's a subjective idea but somehow, watching this film, I think I understand.
