Review of Cas & Dylan (2013) by Frances H — 08 May 2016
I have to disagree with the critics yet again. This movie was warm and human and wonderful. There was nothing not to like here, and the dynamic was nothing like Paper Moon, as some critics implied, but a tribute to the lead actor, in this case Richard Dreyfus, whose talents have long been extolled.
Ms. Maslany also puts in an exuberant performance that is a good counter to Dreyfus' at first sober character. A totally charming road trip film with a moving end.
