Review of Carrie (2002) by Natalie A — 19 May 2014
I was hesitant to give it a 5 for the reason that it's a remake of a classic, but only for a few seconds. I thought it was a brilliant adaption and I really enjoyed it, it held my interest. Chloe played another great role and even before watching this, I could see her as Carrie from what I've seen of her in other movies.
She's a great actress. Julianne Moore was also a great cast. I'm sure I've seen some of the others before elsewhere, like Chrissy, so I'll go to imdb and check a few of them out. The guy who played Tommy Ross looked a little and talked a lot like Liam Hemsworth (Gale), so much so that in his first scene I thought it was him.
But then again, his first scene was late at night while he was fucking a girl so it wasn't too clear, I just thought it was Liam from the voice alone. All in all, I really liked it. There's no faulting Chloe.
