Review of Captive State (2019) by Insickness — 01 Jun 2019

What a frustrating movie to watch. It had so many good elements: great production and music, great effects, cool aliens. But the story was completely muddled, unclear and lacked any arc at all. What were the protagonists trying to do? They were some kind of insurgency against the (cliched) human-backed alien overlords, but we don't know if they were trying to blow up the aliens or what.

To top it off, the ending was weak as hell.
