Review of Cam (2018) by Marco M — 01 Nov 2018

I recently saw a screening of this film at the BFI festival. Cam is a must see film. It keeps you on the edge of your seat from minute one. It's plot does not waste a minute, and Danny Goldhaber successfully masters the intricacies of the subject matter at hand--cam girls--sex shows over the internet for those interested in paying in order to interact with girls (or boys) and instructing and encouraging their sexual actions. Only here this story takes a twist into the supernatural and the excellent script by Isa Mazzei compels the viewer forward into the world of sexworkers and shows it for what it is--simply another way to make a living. An interesting film and I can't wait to see it again on Netflix.
