Review of Cam (2018) by James L — 20 Oct 2018
Got to see it last night at the BFI London Film Festival, and me and my friend both enjoyed it was a great film about a subject you never think about unless you are a cam artist or viewer yourself, the film managed to make you see both sides of Alice/Lola's life and get a new found respect for both men and women who cam for a living, also the film manages to give you character's you can care for and not care for even though nobody in the film will make you hate them you will probably just feel sorry for them, so to me it was a film that makes you think about the character's life's and your own and how much the internet controls many people's life's and how in a split second it can all go wrong, it was a well acted and well written film with many great visuals and I look forward to seeing what Isa Mazzei and Daniel Goldhaber come up with next.
