Review of Café Society (2016) by Wonderz — 25 Jul 2018
Woody Allen is one of my all time favorite film makers. I like watching his movies from time to time with boxxy software. Cafe Society is an amiable pleasure that looks great and offers some nice lines, but it is definitely minor Allen.
Set in the 1930s we enter the world of Hollywood films and New York Society. It gently lopes along providing some nice laughs and good times but in the end it all feels a little flat.
