Review of Cadillac Records (2008) by James K — 30 Aug 2009
Apart from a`couple of scenes where executive producer Beyonce has to sing entire songs when all the other artists get snippets this is a very special film about how soul music and the artist in them were revolutionary in changing attitudes towards black people in modern America.
Both liberating and tragic this is an incredible true story about some of my favorite music. In short I loved this film.
