One of my favorite musicals translated flawlessly to the screen. A mix of decadence and foreboding. Misfits celebrating life, love, and lust at the last few moments of freedom in pre-occupied Berlin. A snapshot of history seem through the rose-tined eyes of the dreamers.
Tragic, gorgeous, and amazing music.
