What a classic!!! You can watch over and over and still have fun! Almost 30 years old, the film still portrays some of the social problems and characters within Brazilian society: the 'malandro', the prostitute with a good heart, the 'Nordestino', and the controlled wife!!! Exploitation of the Amazon, capitalism changing society.
