There were so many parts of this movie that I just couldn't bear to watch. I cried through most of it... and every time I think of what really happened to the Native Americans.
One of the hardest moments for me was when the boy who was taken and raised in the White culture was told that he did not have a people.
Who are we when our heritage has been stripped away & our spirit broken? I have wondered that for a LONG time... how much or our identity is culture and how much biology?
