I think Roger Ebert nailed this one when he said, ''It's funny, sometimes delightful, sometimes a little sad, with dialogue that sounds perfectly logical until you listen a little more carefully and realize all of these people are mad.''.

It's very well written and acted (one of Brad Pitt's very best performances), and quite funny. Definitely one of my favourite films from the Coen bros. It's the kind of film I could probably never get tired of. Enthusiastic thumbs up from me...
