Review of Bullet Head (2017) by Oddtimes — 30 Mar 2018
This is a simple movie that is far more intelligent than the usual crime fare and it is hard to understand why anyone would not be entertained by it. Three men hiding out in a large abandoned warehouse complex after a botched heist re-live some of their past. They are intelligent and sensitive and parts of their past lives are re-lived through their eyes. There is also a protagonist, a dog, whose life is also re-lived through his eyes. There is the requisite chase scene and nominal violence that all American movies seem to have (gotta have guns and blood). There is also a more realistic tension in that the movie's "monster" is real and not the usual comic book/sci-fi freak or zombie. Brody gives one of his best performances.
Good movie, worth watching.
